is a developmental scheme targeted at artist-led groups and artist-led
initiatives in the South West region of England. It is an artist-led network,
driven by a dialogue between the artists who work within it, continuously
changing as groups begin, develop and evolve. The emphasis of our work is
always on the development of a creative practice, in terms of quality and
integrity. alias is unique in providing a flexible, open-ended and bespoke
relationship lasting for sustained lengths of time.

is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing
public money from Government and the National Lottery.
Artsminds,
an initiative managed by Swindon Borough Council Arts Services, is a free
forum and network for Swindon's creative arts practitioners and supporters.
Axis
provides a unique information resource for arts professionals and enthusiasts to
research, commission and engage with contemporary artists.
Edge Effect
is Artsite member, Andy Preston's own site. Providing details of his artistic
and commercial projects. Electronic music, video, photography, technical services
for artists, web design services, and much more.
The International Feltmakers Association
was formed to foster worldwide interest in felt, to promote members' work and keep
members in contact with one another for exchange of knowledge and ideas.
The New Mechanics Institute Preservation Trust
was founded in 1995 in order to preserve the Swindon Mechanics' Institution building
for the greatest possible benefit to the Townspeople of Swindon.
They hope to restore BOTH the physical building AND its social role as the dynamic
cultural heart of the community.
Textile forum South West
is a non-profit making organisation funded by Arts Council England which aims to
promote textiles in all it's forms for the cultural, educational & economic
benefit of the southwest region.
